The Thurston County Fair is back with some exciting changes for 2025! Organizers have unveiled the new mascot, Disco Dave the Peacock, and announced a shift to a four-day event that promises all the fun and excitement fairgoers have come to expect—just in a more condensed, action-packed format.

What’s New This Year?

🦚 Disco Dave the Peacock – Get ready to groove with this year’s funky mascot! Known for his vibrant plumage and groovy style, Disco Dave brings a festive spirit to the fairgrounds. Expect to see him making appearances throughout the event, spreading fun and cheer.

📅 Four Days of Fun – The fair will run from Thursday, July 31st, to Sunday, August 3rd, 2025. The shift to four days is primarily due to carnival ride availability, but organizers promise a vibrant and engaging experience packed into this shortened schedule.

Daily Themes and Specials

Each day of the fair will feature special themes and entry deals:

• 🎟️ Thursday, July 31st – Thrifty Thursday: $1 entry with a donation to the Thurston County Food Bank.

• 🎡 Friday, August 1st – Wristband Friday: Purchase a carnival wristband for unlimited rides.

• 🚓 Saturday, August 2nd – First Responders and Military Service Day: $2 entry for first responders and military personnel (with valid ID).

• 🧒 Sunday, August 3rd – Youth Day: $2 entry for youth ages 6-14.
